Do you have muscle aches and pains due to long working hours?

Do you suffer from annoying muscle and joint pain due to bad posture?

Do you want to treat these pains without taking medication or chemical painkillers?

What is the use of the multi-purpose microwaveable heat pad and what are its benefits?

Areas of application against pain multipurpose heating pad

What’s it for?

It is used to relieve multiple types of pain, caused by muscle contractions, menstrual cramps, strains, stiff neck, bad posture, blows and bruises, as well as to provide comfort in cold days and nights, to warm the bed, feet … It is therefore very useful to combat muscle and joint pain. It can be used for dozens of applications, such as to relieve pain, reduce inflammation and discomfort or simply to warm up or warm up beds, cribs and sleep at a pleasant temperature.

What are the benefits?

Hot: When heat is applied at more than 40ºC, which is what is achieved by heating the wheat bag in the microwave, the heat receptors are activated which, in turn, inhibit the pain receptors, as simple and clear as that. It provides natural pain relief, deflation, muscle relaxation, general wellness, improved blood circulation, instant heat.
Cold: Cold can be applied to areas that have suffered some trauma, in order to reduce swelling and prevent bruising. The oxygen is in higher concentrations in a cold environment, applying the multipurpose bag, previously cooled in the freezer in areas affected by shock, will make the blood flow better and more loaded with oxygen, recovering earlier and better muscle, joint or skin.

In which areas can we use it?

The standard size of the multipurpose heating pad allows its application in localized areas of any part of the body, for example, in the lumbar area, in the neck area, on our feet, to heat beds or cribs in winter with total safety, without electrical components or hot liquid leaks as could occur with electric blankets or water bags. Thanks to thermotherapy and aromatherapy with lavender flowers, forget about taking painkillers and medicines to combat pain, as they have been proven to be harmful to our health in the long term. Switch to natural remedies that really work, thousands of people already benefit from heat and localised cold therapies to relieve pain.

Materials and Ingredients, How is the Multi-Purpose Heat and Cold Pack Made?

Size and measurements multipurpose microwave wheat bag

✔ Inside:

It’s filled with 800 grams of wheat seeds and lavender flowers in perfect proportions. It is important to note that the amount of filling used has been tested so that it fits perfectly to the different areas of the body and the seeds and flowers are distributed evenly throughout the body of the product.

✔ Outside:

100% cotton fabric has been used for the hand-made manufacture of all our models, both for the inner and outer sleeves that are coloured and printed. Cotton, besides being a natural fibre, is very resistant to heat, both from the microwave and from water when washing. This prolongs the life of the wheat bag.

✔ Shape:

The white fabric or cover that carries the wheat seeds and lavender flowers inside, is divided into 3 cells, so that the seeds are distributed evenly throughout the bag and the area to be treated is completely covered.

How to use the multi-purpose heat pack on any area of the body?

Step 1) Cool the wheat bag in a freezer bag for about 2 hours before the cold treatment.

Paso 2: Aplicar en la zona inflamada

Step 2) Place the multipurpose wheat bag on the area to be treated for about 10 or 15 minutes, you will feel the area deflates thanks to the cold therapy.

F.A.Q: Frequently asked questions about the multipurpose heat pack

Below we leave you with some questions and answers that may arise during the use and conservation of your multipurpose wheat bag for use on any part or area of the body.

How long should it be heated in the microwave or in the oven?

This model can be heated for approximately 1:30 minutes at a power of 800W and somewhat less for powers of 1000W or more. This depends a lot on your microwave, we recommend that the first times you use it, try a shorter time and increase the duration in intervals of 15 seconds to reach the desired temperature. For use in the oven, although less recommended due to the dangers it can cause, if you do not have a microwave this is a good alternative, always use an electric oven and heat for 10 to 15 minutes at 125º, previously wrapping the wheat bag in aluminium foil. Do not use a gas oven.

How can I maintain it to last longer and increase its life?

The heat pad is a totally natural product, we do not use synthetic materials or ingredients, therefore it is necessary to maintain it. We recommend heating it in a microwave every 2-3 months when not in use to avoid deterioration of the wheat and lavender flowers. Every 8-10 uses it is advisable to rehydrate the wheat by placing a container of water together with the bag inside the microwave or in the oven to create steam, and this will moisten the wheat and thus increase its shelf life. You can store it inside the box in a cool and dry place.

How long does the wheat bag last for hot or cold?

Believe it or not, if you use it to heat your bed, the heat can last almost all night, although normally when we use it on some part of the body, the heat gradually disappears and lasts about 25-30 minutes, more than enough to relieve any pain. In cold use, once we take it out of the freezer, it stays cold for about 15-20 minutes, this will depend on the outside temperature, a plus is that you can use it directly on your skin as it has a cotton cover and you will not be at risk of suffering burns from cold.

Can you wash the heating pads multipurpose?

Of course it can. Please note that you can only wash the outer cover that has prints and colours. As it is 100% cotton fabric, it is very resistant to high temperatures, although be careful not to wash it at more than 40ºC. It is also recommended to do it separately with other clothes, especially the first time, to avoid dyeing other clothes.

What will I receive with the purchase of the hot and cold pack?

All our models include an instruction manual with the methods of use and a nice box perfect for giving away. Many times we want to make a gift that is useful, beautiful and original, the multipurpose heat pad filled with wheat seeds and lavender flowers is the best option to surprise yours. Its beautiful design is perfect for them, it is very useful thanks to its totally proven benefits on health and wellness and besides, it is original, you are sure to get it right and everybody likes it, do you try it?

    James Valentine

Essential for pain relief and sleep aid! – This thing is an absolute godsend for my sore shoulders. I’ve always been sceptical of these wheatbag things, but it was bought as a gift, and my god, I’ve been so stupid. Not only does it help with pain relief, but it smells amazing and soothing, so on really bad pain days, it helps me sleep as well. I will say, if you have pets, keep it out of reach, my house rabbit thought it was a snack and chewed a bunch of holes in it! I can see, so no big deal, and the rabbit is fine, but don’t make the same mistake I did!

A good heat pack but less bean density than I was looking for. – I am a bit fussy when it comes to heat packs and probably should have known from the weight this would not be as ‘solid’ as I wanted. The bean to bag length ratio is less that I was looking for, but it heats well and keeps heat and smelt lovely…until I over heated it slightly (my fault!)

Relieves stiffness and pain – I use this for my shoulders as they get stiff from a stressful day at work. 90 seconds in the microwave and throw it over the shoulders, until the heat subsides. As it has the fragrance of Lavender, it is also a pleasant smell to have it on your shoulders too. I use it daily to relieve my stiffness. Recommend it.

    Margaret Lyons

Dark tartan wheat bag – The bag is made from a good quality polyester type fabric – I bought the dark tartan one. It is well filled and sits comfortably on the back of the neck to give adequate pain relief and help with post-use exercise. Takes a little longer in the microwave than stated on the instructions – for me, 2 minutes on 800W is satisfactory. Heat lasts about 10 minutes – again satisfactory for the stated purpose. I am happy to recommend this product.

  66. 4 out of 5

Good value for money – Could be better however at the price I can not really moan. Would be good with the actual lavender scent. It is there but only if you hold it very close

  67. 4 out of 5

wrong colour delivered – Lovely heat pack bought for my daughter as she has lower back pain. She was a bit disapointed as we ordered the lilac tartan but received the blue one…. 5 stars otherwise

  68. 5 out of 5

Perfect size and length. Also smells nice – I got this for my mum who suffers from shoulder impingement which causes immobilizing pain down her arms and back. The pillow is long and rests perfectly round the shoulders. it heats up nicely after 1 minute in the microwave and the heat lasts over an hour afterwards, my mum says is soothes her pain enough to let her rest comfortably after work when her pain is at its worst. plus it looks and smells nice which is a bonus.

  69. 4 out of 5

easy to use, works fine – This is a very efficient wheat bag, I personally liked the size and it’s definitely good value for money. The lavender scent is subtle which is also good. You should always be careful and follow the manufacturer’s directions since overheating might ruin your bag and perhaps your microwave. Just don’t heat it for over 2 minutes and it shall be fine. I personally prefer to heat it up for 1 minute, shake the bag a little and heat it for 30 seconds more. I wish it stayed warm for more than 15-20 minutes but I did choose this bag over water bottles for its effortlessness so I guess that’s fine
